ALONG THE RIDGE-Inspired by the early morning aspenglow that makes a deep, golden band 'along the ridge' of Hick's Mountain and Mount Judge as viewed from my Colorado home. COUNTRY WALK-Inspired by a long, relaxing walk along a rural trail. 8. MEADOW DANCE-A light melody that symbolizes dance and celebration in a meadow. It is a metaphor for the good times in life when you feel like celebrating and dancing. 9. PASSING STORM-This piece follows a storm from its humble beginnings to a thunder storm with heavy rains. The jagged patterns of the melody in the middle of the piece symbolize the jagged patterns of lightning. The storm builds and ulimately passes.
